After a frantic opening month of the 2010/11 regular season, November sees the National Hockey League continue on ASN, in awesome High Definition.  With teams either looking to improve or continue on their starts to the season, November is when the action really heats up.  Catch every save, goal and fight Live on ASN as we take viewers closer to the action than ever before.  Will the likes of Crosbie and Ovechkin rally their teams to improve on last season’s performance or will the Stanley Cup champion, Chicago Blackhawks, along with runner up Philadelphia Flyers, continue their dominance from last year?  To find out, catch the NHL on ASN in November.

Tune in to ASN this week to see the start of the NHL season, with seven Live games to enjoy, including the special games played in Europe as part of the NHL initiative promoting the league abroad.  Live and in HD, Carolina and Minnesota play each other three times in quick succession, from Helsinki, Finland, while San Jose and Columbus play in Stockholm, Sweden, and Boston take on Phoenix in Prague, Czech Republic.  Back on US soil, ASN brings you games between Philadelphia and Pittsburgh, Anaheim and Detroit, and New York Rangers v New York Islanders.  Watch ASN this week for your first NHL action of the regular season.

Taiwan’s summers are hot hot hot, so why not cool off and check out a new sport at the same time? Now’s your chance; the Chinese-Taipei Ice Hockey League and ASN (All Sports Network) are sponsoring weekend Ice Skating and Hockey Workshops at the Taipei Arena. Professional coaches will be on hand every Saturday and Sunday morning from 9-11am. Everyone is welcome, there are no age restrictions. Participants choose either ice skating or hockey and all equipment will be provided. ASN representatives will also be there answering questions about ASN and giving away free t-shirts! Come on down for a fun way to beat the heat!

在一球定生死的史坦利盃第六戰延長驟死賽，芝加哥黑鷹的肯恩 (Patrick Kane) 得到了這個夢寐以求的機會。他在延長賽開始四分鐘的射門穿越了費城飛人門將雷頓 (Michael Leighton) 的防守，不過示意進球的紅燈當下並未亮起，可是黑鷹全部的隊員已經在滿場一片寂靜的地主球迷面前瘋狂慶賀。不一會兒裁判透過重播確定這球進了球門。
